When you come in for a restorative dentistry appointment, we start with a thorough exam and take any necessary digital X-rays. We want to understand exactly what’s happening with your smile. Depending on his findings, Dr. Steven Wan may recommend:
- Tooth Fillings – We offer tooth-colored fillings to treat cavities and restore the strength of your teeth. We can also remove amalgam fillings to improve your dental health and overall well-being.
- Root Canals – While no one wants to hear they need a root canal, it can save you from a tooth extraction. Your dentist performs most of them in-house, so you won’t have to drive to another office for treatment. For severe cases, we will refer you to an outside specialist. We’ll save your tooth whenever possible!
- Dental Crowns – If you have severe dental damage or a large cavity, we’ll repair your tooth with a crown. Our crowns are crafted in-house with CEREC technology or sent to an outside lab, depending on the material used. It’s possible to receive your crown on the same day with CEREC.
- Implant-Supported Crowns – We can replace a single missing tooth with a crown anchored to an implant. It gives you the look and feel similar to a natural tooth.
- Dental Bridges – We offer both traditional and implant-supported bridges to replace missing teeth and restore your smile’s function.
